An elected Liberal Nationals Government will fund the replacement of toilets and bathroom facilities at Ivanhoe Primary School.
With 650 students currently enrolled at the school, parents and students at Ivanhoe Primary are disgusted by the state of amenities, with students reluctant to use them in their current state.
Labor has been in government in Victoria for 15 of the last 19 years, and its long-term neglect has meant this school has not kept up with local population growth.
Only the Liberal Nationals are committed to ensuring students have the 21st century facilities they deserve.
Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:
“Out of control population growth in our suburbs is placing enormous pressure on our schools basic needs.
A Liberal Nationals Government, together with Monica Clark will give Ivanhoe Primary the modern facilities they so desperately need and rightly deserve.”
Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Ivanhoe, Monica Clark:
“All students should have access to facilities that are not below our reasonable expectation or standard.
The Liberal Nationals will fix the issue and also update the amenities to meet the needs of students and any other organisation that uses this site.”
